Girona is known as a cycling heaven for road, mtb and gravel riders alike. Spoilt for choice, head inland to Olot, Ruppet or Banyoles, or tackle the steep climbs of Els Angels and head towards the coast.

There are endless options here.

We recommend minimum 45mm tyres. If heading into the sandier climbs of Els Angels some rear grip is recommended.

Coffee stops are plenty available in Girona;

Espresso Mafia, La Comuna, Federal, Orinia, Idle Hands. Aquarium (Banyoles), Annna (Sant Feliu).

Here are some of our local eating recommendations;

Ca L’Artau (Llagostera), La Bodegueta de Llagostera, Can Mascort (Els Angles), Mon Mignon (Girona), Nomo Girona (Japanese).
